Dhimmi Roots of the Arab-Israeli Conflict
Jews from Arab countries escaped the gallows of Iraq, the torture of Egyptian prisons, violence and political and economic strangulation, to seek refuge in Israel and the West. They and their descendants now form almost half the Jewish population of Israel.
Many in the West forget that when almost half of today’s Israelis say “Never Again”, they are not necessarily referring to the Holocaust. Rather, they are stating a steadfast resolve that Jews shall never again be second class citizens in a Muslim state; that the term “Jewish State” is as valid as “Islamic Republic”; and that any attempts to use the concept of “peace” as a shroud to mask Muslim attempts to demographically overrun Israel and resurrect Jewish “dhimmitude” will never be acceptable to Israelis, or most Jews around the world.
Israel is a Jewish State. That notion will be defended, with blood, sweat and tears. Because the alternative is simply no longer an option.
